Motorsport ABS FAQ
Q: Does the ABS unit need to be "tuned" for maximum performance?

A: The Delta ABS braking strategy tailors it's response based on a combination of the driver slip position input and the vehicle details entered during initial setup. There is no need for costly or time-consuming calibration.
Q: Can I share my wheelspeed sensors I already have fitted for my ECU?

A: Delta ABS system uses a very high data rate to ensure that no information is missed, therefore wheel speed sensors must be wired directly to the ABS unit. The individual wheel speed data is then broadcast via CAN for after market ECUs. Additionally there are 4 dedicated wheelspeed outputs to support ECUs that do not support CAN.
Q: Does the ABS come with Ice Mode?

A: No. Delta ABS is a dedicated Motorsport system and does not have an Ice Mode.
Q: Will your ABS work on my car?

A: Delta Motorsport ABS is a universal, standalone system. It is sold as a complete kit, including all necessary electronic modules, sensors, and wiring for installation.
If your vehicle has a factory ABS system, four wheels, and brake calipers, installing Delta ABS will be straightforward.
If your vehicle does not currently have an ABS system, installation will require some custom fabrication.
